Alexis Melchior

Né à Lyon, Alexis Melchior est un artiste peintre qui a fait de ses voyages une source intarissable d’inspiration. Après cinq années passées à Mayotte, il s’est établi dans les Caraïbes, sur l’île de Saint-Martin, où il développe un style résolument innovant.

 

Artiste hybride, Alexis Melchior associe la création numérique aux techniques traditionnelles, avec pour objectif de donner naissance à des œuvres physiques. Ses réalisations prennent vie sur des supports variés, allant de la toile en coton à l’aluminium laqué où les encres sont directement infusées dans le vernis.

 

Il a déjà exposé en solo et en collaboration, notamment avec l’association Art for Science, confirmant sa place dans une scène artistique en constante évolution. À travers ses créations, Alexis Melchior propose une lecture du monde nourrie de métaphores et d’expériences personnelles, invitant chacun à dépasser l’image pour en explorer le sens caché.
